As part of the closeout for the Spitzer cryogenic mission custody of Spitzer documentation was transferred from the Spitzer Science Center to the Infrared Science Archive (IRSA) in April of 2011. However some information needed to run the warm mission was retained on the Spitzer Science Center’s website. To view information on the telescope, IRS, MIPS, IRAC, or data analysis and tools go to http://irsa.ipac.caltech.edu/data/SPITZER/docs/ To view information on proposal and observation planning, funding, DDTs and scheduling go to http://ssc.spitzer.caltech.edu/ If you are confused about where the information you are looking for is you can try looking at http://ssc.spitzer.caltech.edu/sitemap or contact us at either the IRSA or Spitzer helpdesks, and we will point you in the right direction.
